Jean is a seasoned portfolio manager with a great track record in the finance industry. With a career spanning over two decades, he has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to understanding clients' needs and realities, thereby enabling him to craft tailored investment strategies that maximize returns while aligning with his clients risk appetite

Since the dawn of the new millennium in 2000, Jean has been an integral part of the finance landscape. His journey began at Deutsche Bank in London, where he served as a Senior Analyst in the M&A team, specializing in the French market. This early experience laid the foundation for his future endeavors in asset management and wealth advisory.

Prior to joining Richardson Wealth Limited, he held pivotal roles at esteemed institutions such as Mirabaud Canada, a Swiss Wealth Manager based in Montreal, where he honed his portfolio management skills. His tenure also includes private wealth manager positions at Desjardins and Manulife, showcasing his versatility in catering to diverse clientele.

Before his foray into wealth management, Jean spent a cumulative decade at Montrusco Bolton and Investor Group as a Senior Analyst, gaining invaluable insights into various industries. His expertise and analytical acumen were further fortified by academic achievements, having earned a BA in Finance from HEC Montreal followed by an MSc Finance from the City University in London, UK.

Driven by a passion for continuous learning and professional growth, Jean obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation during his tenure in asset management. Not content with resting on his laurels, he sought to expand his knowledge of alternatives and achieved the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) title five years ago.

Beyond the realm of finance, Jean finds solace in the great outdoors. Whether he's cycling on road or gravel, conquering mountain trails, or spending quality time with his wife and four-year-old daughter, he embodies a balanced approach to life. When seeking moments of tranquility, he immerses himself in reading about current affairs and indulges his culinary prowess by preparing delectable meals.

Jeanne’s professional journey began at her family’s winery, where she developed a keen interest in business and management. Immersed in the day-to-day operations, this hands-on upbringing became the foundation of her academic pursuits. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in business and fine arts from Bishop’s University in 2017. It was during this time that her interest in finance flourished, shaping the trajectory of her professional career.

Following her graduation, she began her career as an administrative assistant, refining her organizational and communication skills. Eager to broaden her expertise, she completed a graphic design program and launched her own studio, venturing into entrepreneurship. This endeavour offered invaluable insights into operations, customer service, and business management. Building on this entrepreneurial spirit, she co-founded a bakery in Quebec’s Eastern Townships, gaining further expertise in business development and leadership.

She’s now become a proud member of Boulianne, Zicha & Partners, where she ensures seamless operations through her comprehensive administrative support. Her multifaceted background has honed a versatile skill set that she applies to her role in wealth management.

Beyond her professional life, she embraces a wide range of personal interests such as playing tennis, horseback riding, baking, or playing the piano. A passionate traveller, she finds inspiration in exploring new cultures and perspectives, enriching both her personal and professional endeavours.
